Hammond Report August 8 2020 from Pandemic Quarantino Jon Hammond - Daily Music and Stories from organist & accordionist Jon Hammond, today's story in St. Georgs Kirchhof 7 Villon "Das Kulturcafé "Villon" in St. Georg startet neu durch" special thanks to my friends Henry Schönewald and Michael August aka Illustratorp - this was one of a series of Multimedia events we made together with my band and Michael's art. On the band here on the world's smallest bandstand, Heinz Lichius drums, Gabriel Coburger tenor saxophone, Joe Berger guitar and yours truly Jon Hammond at the Hammond organ - the theme song for my long-running cable TV show "Late Rent" on MNN TV - everybody have a beautiful weekend and stay safe, keep masking up in public during this pandemic folks! There is the "Villon" - wine bar, cabaret, artists' meeting place, where many have been discovered who are really big today. There is actually no label for this "space for 50 individualists", as a newspaper once headlined. Today this special location turns 25 years old. A reason to celebrate - and to look back."
